Think your Friday commute’s rough? Australian sister act Nicky and Simone Zimmermann trekked all the way from Sydney to spend a weekend out East. Known for its sexy swimsuits, their label, Zimmermann, is showing ready-to-wear in New York for the first time this fall. They took a break from the pool to give us the lowdown.

Like a mirage in the middle of the Hamptons (that could happen in summer’s sweltering temps, right?), a handful of fashion’s elite mingled in the dunes behind interior design maven Kelly Behun’s Southampton abode in celebration of many events this Saturday evening. The first in line for a celebratory toast? ELLE Decor’s July/August issue. And the second? Behun’s newest furniture line, Neo-Laminati. Donna Karan’s daughter (and adored East End restauranteur!) Gabby Karan De Felice chatted with Calvin Klein, probably about how fab it is to be a classic American designer.

Elle’s creative director, Joe Zee, has a summer project out East come August, and it’s not a shoot for the glossy. Zee, a Hamptons regular, is setting up a two-week camp for aspiring fashionettes with his beau, Rob Younkers, called “Stitched Fashion Camp.”

(NEW YORK) Yesterday, Sharon Stone’s new paramour was revealed in Page Six: Michael Wudyka, Hamptons local and owner of Enclave Inn, a chainlet of affordable spots to slumber out East. The name sure rang a bell here at Daily HQ. Pourqoui? We chatted up Wudyka last summer! Of course, we had to share our findings on Stone’s latest love. To recap: Wudyka swapped the plush Michigan ‘burb of Bloomfield Hills for Bridgehampton’s equally lush environs in the dead of winter. Wudyka ended up buying a motel right on Montauk Highway, and soon enough, a quintet of Enclave Inn locations came about. No vacancies around here!

Last Memorial Day, a chic anonymous New York City teen spoke to us about her luxe adventures summering out east every year. The intrigue factor was so haute, in fact, that we just had to check in with our Hamptonette one year later. Get ready for the sauciest dish on how she spent the rest of last summer carousing around the East End—and how she adjusted to the horrors of leaving the good life behind for college.

Since you’re in a summery state of mind already pre-holiday weekend, here’s a delish morsel as you plot your din strategy! Bad news for your husband’s arteries, ladies! The superbly old-school Wall Street steak house on Beaver Street is headed to the beach. Delmonico’s of Southampton opens the doors of its 5,000-square foot surf n’ turf emporium this weekend in the former Savanna’s space.

Downtown doyenne Rachel Comey is hitting the East End with a new retail partnership, thanks to Montauk’s Surf Lodge. The designer is expected to open a shop-in-shop July 12-14 and July 19-21, housing RC swim, coverups, sandals, bags, and accessories. Plus, watch out for Rachel Comey x The Surf Lodge, the hospitality brand’s first in-house collection featuring casual, limited-edition tees and sweatshirts for men and women. The collab will be sold at The Surf Lodge as well as on RachelComey.com beginning Memorial Day Weekend.

This beats the LIE any day! Calvin Klein, Inc. brought the Hamptons to West 39th Street for a special presentation of the Fall 2013 men’s and women’s lines for editors, stylists and bloggers earlier today. Models posed in tableaus of tall wheat stalks and white sand, reminiscent of a winter sunset in the Hamptons. (Details, details, details!)
